Bompton Had a Dream is a 2020 American coming-of-age hood film written and directed by Rashan Allen, and produced and casted by Ali-Han Ibragimov. The film follows the top high school basketball player in the nation, Javon Escoe (portrayed by Tyler Williams), on his announcement day, as he goes to the local park to workout, but runs into everyday troubles of living in Compton.
It is the film debut of actors Tyler Williams, Dominique Brown, Avery Gregory and Tyler Hampton, as well as features cameos from streetball legend Bone Collector, and YouTuber Mark ‘SupremeDreams’ Phillips.
